The collection “Sinergia Tubular” (Tubular Synergy) is made up by a group of figurative and abstract pieces of avant-garde design, elaborated in an ingenious combination of recycled materials. The works are sculpted and assembled using tubular elements and creating diverse circular forms -with a very aerial configuration that seems to defy gravity- and emphasizing the living edges that melt in perfect symbiosis with the curved elements. In some sculptures the author introduces elements made of steel and other metals which, combined with the finished textures give the works a sober characteristic, with the attractive result of the contrast between the arid elements and the machined steel. The artist gives a meaning in each piece to offer and show some aspects of human condition, the relationships with our peers and with the environment in the planet we inhabit. Tubular Synergy comprehends a certain complexity regarding its elaboration; however Chico Repullo wants to vindicate the beauty of simplicity.
His catalogue shows us how the artist has used titles coming from literary or cinema works of art to name some of his pieces, but besides he has assigned to each and every sculpture a titleof a musical theme which, in most cases, is related to the meaning of the figure.
La colección “SINERGIA TUBULAR” está compuesta por un conjunto de piezas figurativas y abstractas de diseño vanguardista elaboradas a partir de una ingeniosa combinación de materiales reciclados. Las figuras son esculpidas y ensambladas a partir de elementos tubulares creando diversas formas circulares con una configuración muy aérea que, en ocasiones, parece desafiar la gravedad, resaltando la agresividad de las aristas vivas que se funden en perfecta simbiosis con los elementos curvos. En alguna de las figuras el autor introduce elementos de acero y metales diversos que combinados con la textura de los acabados les confieren un carácter muy sobrio, con el atractivo resultado del contraste entre los elementos áridos y el acero mecanizado que utiliza en sus obras. A cada pieza el autor le infiere un significado para ofrecer y poner de manifiesto algunos aspectos de la condición del ser humano, las relaciones con sus congéneres y con el entorno del planeta en el que habita. Sinergia Tubular encierra una cierta complejidad en cuanto a su elaboración, no obstante Chico Repullo quiere reivindicar con su obra la belleza de lo simple.
Su catálogo nos muestra cómo el autor ha utilizado el título de una obra literaria o cinematográfica para dar nombre a alguna de las piezas, pero además ha querido asignar a cada una de las figuras el título de un tema musical que en la mayoría de los casos tiene relación con el significado de cada pieza.
